Open Letter to All Citizens of USA

The idea that all children growing up in the United States of America must learn and say this pledge but the oath that is sworn to uphold "indivisible, liberty and justice for all," is completely ignored. Kids are growing up asking what's the point? And they are right.

As a reformed # Berner and citizen of the great United States I thought I'd share an email I received today along with my thoughts:

It is a mistake to think that this election is simply about beating one man — an aberration of a president — and that everything will simply return to “normal.”

Of course, there was more, but this is where I stopped reading and choose to respond;

I agree with all you have stated except what "Bernie has shown..."

My personal experience with Bernie was actually:

·       He invited all Americans to stand for the original intent of the law of our land, equality for all. So, I joined in that fight, all working together, we can win, and I believed him. 

·       But the actual results from that belief were: 

1. ·       Americans from all castes in life sent what they could to show running for President of the USA could be done without big money by the few. 
2. ·       Bernie took that money and showed it to be true (he made it to the Convention)
3. ·       During the national voting, leading up to The Convention, The DNC purged their own members from their rolls
4. ·       Ballots were literally stolen or changed without consent of the voter casting it.
5. ·       No party or individual stood up to the whole theft, only some within their own districts. Most were unsuccessful because judges were all ruled along party lines. Which taught me it was about the office they themselves wanted people to hold, not in the interest of democracy or country.
6. ·       When we finally made it to what should have been a fair Contested Election at The Convention. We were constantly told to shut up, sit down & accept it BEFORE a SINGLE vote was ever cast to determine who would challenge the Republican nominee. 
7. ·       Once Votes counted & not liking outcome, the votes were recast with others being reminded of DNC Corporation pick. To hell what the majority wanted. That's the exact opposite of democracy.
   
8. ·       Your man, Bernie, instead of calling it out; checked out of the DNC party in favor of his long-standing Independence by switching to Independent as his Party Affiliation & I respected that. 
   
9. ·       However, some brave souls, in the form of attorneys, went on to challenge the newly stolen will of the people & they were attacked publicly & privately with No Comment from any candidate. your pick refused to help or even participate which says he doesn’t care about fairness or equality 2 all.  Absolute Silence showed me he was never going to do what he said, "Ensure Equality for all."    
10.           Once in the courtrooms, the partisan appointed judge ruled that DNC as a private nonprofit corporation had the right to appoint Corporation choices over member choices and by abstention all Political Parties are Equally offered Rights and Protections under the law.     
11.        Again, your candidate again said nothing, reaffirming my belief that he obviously doesn't care and/or is not genuine in his quest for power. Actions showed Bernie accepted the status quo and would never actually go against it. 
    
12. ·       Now here it is election time again & where do we find your guy, our supposed hero, leader & savior? Back safely in the folds and good graces of those that abused him and  that stole democracy. He has vowed again that he will stand by whatever the Corporations want. Which further reminds and confirms to me he sees the DNC & his commitment to them far more important than his commitment to me, my fellow Americans or our country.
13. ·       And that his quest 4 dominance & his way of thinking is what’s best 4 America regardless of actions that prove otherwise and I disagree. Actions have consequences and when you are acting on behalf of an entire nation, the implications are far more serious because they can cause more harm when you have that arsenal at your back. Might begins to look like Right.    
    
14. I     I view it as my duty as a citizen and as someone that saw first-hand his actual role in it, to never allow someone so dishonest or easily cowered into obedience from becoming a Leader of our Free Independent Nation or to speak on my behalf when his views differ so widely from my own. 
15. 15. How do you fight such a system with someone constantly approving the system you are trying to fight and replace?
16.        Should he ever decide (or any candidate for that matter) to become the person he once was by using his current position to actually change things since it's literally his job, then I will be more than happy 2 consider how he proposes it possible. Until then I let his actions speak louder to me than his words.

And BTW:

v Don't all the current candidates promise to help us change system to reflect equal rights and protections under the laws? 

v   Aren't most candidates already seated within our government (mostly legislative)? Do you know as a member of Congress they were already elected to perform these duties, and swore an oath to uphold? It's in job description written in the Constitution. The whole idea any candidate will only be able to fix it if we elect them to a higher office is a lie. 

v As a member of Congress (all of them) it is their direct responsibility to ensure fairness of laws and theirs alone.

v    And until they honor themselves & us all as fellow Americans (as an Independent & free-thinker), none of them have nothing to say that I need to hear, it's a continuation of only offering more of the same, in the 47 years I've been alive and that's long enough! We've proven it unsustainable and now it's Time for something new. Citizens have proven the money can be raised to make it happen, when cheating isn't involved, anyway. Direct pay would be nice.

v     It's time to see who's registered and running for President as an Independent with no party affiliation and determine if that individual has Independent thoughts, beliefs, views that they aren't afraid to stand up for but that are also willing to listen and reflect the thoughts, beliefs, views and opinions of others that they were elected to represent to the world at large without ignoring, shouting or bullying them around.

v     What are all you candidates waiting for? If you truly, honestly believe that you can represent our entire Nation as the mixtures we are from all walks of life, color, creed, upbringing, education, environments from small towns to large metro areas and every political ideology Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Greens, Libertarians, Community First individuals, our values, beliefs and worldviews are too. As human beings we now allow ourselves permission to review and tweak our own belief system from the answers we are given. Why do you candidates always insist we must align perfectly with the Political Platforms of Parties or not be represented, especially when most Americans don't form those things around politics or others opinion's completely?

v      People not Politics Requires Politicians Place We the People (which means HUMAN BEINGS) ahead of ambitions & Power (whether they for self or on behalf of others) and Act in our Collective Best Interest not interest of a select few of whoever is choosing.

Guaranteed to happen next time if we don’t do something different. And since Clearly, they aren’t willing to listening to any of us and what we have to say about our individual needs & that of our country, then it’s up to us to respond differently.
